Summer School

We made this new flyer for Summer School!
A bit early, I suppose but I will be passing them out at Kotoen, Nigawa and Mondo Yakujin stations so keep an eye out for me!
There was no room to put another quiz on it this time. Sorry! No one likes quizes anyway.
It will start July 21st thru August 31st.
As I mentioned before, I'd love to meet a whole lot more friends so come on down!
The more, the merrier!

English school joke!!

This is a conversation between an English teacher and his student who often makes grammatical errors.
*
Teacher: What's the past participle of the verb "to ring?"
Student: What do you think, sir?
Teacher: I don't think. I KNOW.
Student: I don't think I know either, sir.
*
If you understand this joke, good for you. If you don't, please, come and see us!
The answer is rung, by the way.

April Craft Party

Today's craft party was very interesting.
Many of the children could not make it though. Too bad :(
I hope we get to see them next time.
For the ones that did come, it was very quiet at firts because everyone was very shy. But at the end, we had fun and talked a lot with the childrens' mommies.
We sang a song about five little ducks, read a story about making friends and made a butterfly out of sticks and things.
Everyone did a wonderful job! I can't wait until next month's
Mother's Day Party!

flyer quiz answer: school tradition

If you read the flyer handed out by me at the station, the answer to the question, "In America, what do students give their teacher on the first day of school?" is b: "apple"

If you are wondering why, the teacher will eat the apple and plant the "seeds of knowledge" in you to grow forever.
It is a very old tradition that people have held for centuries.
